Single exposure of the New York City skyline with the Mandalay Apartments at the bottom on the Jersey City side of the Hudson river. This is a shot from January where the light was just perfect at sunset. There are maybe 4 or 5 evenings a year where the light is like this and mostly in the winter time. I found this shot as i was consolidating my image library with Lightroom and setting up a RAID storage for all the images (50k+).
An image from Manhattanhenge 2009. Sun is setting directly down 42nd Street in New York City. I used a neutral density filter (ND .9) and an f-stop of 22 to generate the effect and also the lighter images that make up this shot were long exposures.
